The 1GHz eMac is a decent machine, but is a little lacklustre. Not as cheap as the 700MHz model with its surprisingly good speakers and ability to boot into OS 9, yet quite a bit slower than its 1.25GHz successor. It is, however, adequate and solid. This eMac will certainly run most applications that are thrown at it, including all facets of iLife '06, and Leopard. If you do buy this machine, ensure that you order it with a minimum of 512MB of RAM. 1GB, if you are willing to spend the money, makes for a pretty good Mac.
