If you buy any of the iMac G4s, style over substance is not necessarily so. It looks pretty and is one of, if not the most striking of any of the venerable iMacs made over the last decade. It is also the most comfortable desktop computer to use in the world, thanks to its sturdy but inimitably flexible sunflower design. All machines are decent performers, especially the 1GHz model, showcased here and are more than capable of running Leopard, if you so desire. You might want to upgrade the RAM to 1 GB though, otherwise it's going to be slower than waiting for a hangover to clear. But as all are cheap, upgrading the RAM will not hurt your wallet. The LCD screen is still very bright and will make one heck of a fashion statement in the home. The only downside to these most iconic of iMacs is that the plastic does tend to fade over time. But with attention to detail and elbow grease, it will be brought back to its original lustre.
