iBook G3/700 12in CD-ROM [POG3IW7002CD] $355.00 $235.00 by Matthew Chappell Date Added: Saturday 16 February, 2008 The iBook G3 700MHz is a good machine if you are new to the Apple platform, want something cheap and capable for the kids or are mucking around with Apple portable hardware (ie. if you break it, it won't be the end of the world!). If you max out the RAM to 640MB, which is fairly cheap, the iBook will run Tiger nicely, including iLife. Some may think the 12" is small, but the trade-off is handsomely rewarded with a lightweight machine with considerable power. Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!]
